      GeroVital story begins somewhere in the middle of the twentieth century. Ana Aslan, then aged 52 years, teaching at the Faculty of Medicine of Timisoara was concerned with the study of procaine, a local anesthetic known. Over the years, many doctors discovered some surprising effects: sometimes, joint pain surrendered, white hair regained color and skin quality is improved. However, were only scattered observations, coming particularly from the surgeons.

      Ana Aslan considered that the potential of procaine can be used in the fight against aging. She used one more time in treatment Artretis in peripheral circulation disorders, but wanted to extend to cases of rheumatism.

      After two years, Ana Aslan began a long-term experiment on animals associated with a clinical study of 25 elderly patients, based on Procaine injection, and found general improvement of their condition. An example which further indicate the effectiveness of the treatment is that of a patient aged 110 years. After four years of treatment, shaking hands and head almost ceased, could go alone and depression was replaced by a good mental state.
